At Greenscape Gardens we provide consultancy services to owners of private country estates (10 acres-200 acres) and domestic gardens (1-10 acres), who are looking to restore and/or plan for the on-going maintenance of their property.
This involves the following:
- Initially we will visit your property and fully explore your garden or grounds, noting areas that could be improved whilst also making a photographic log which can be referred to when drawing up the report.
- For country estates we will need to view an existing plan of the estate and grounds and then have 1-2 days access to all areas of the estate to take notes and produce a photographic log.
- We will then produce a report and quote for you detailing the processes required to achieve what you are looking for with your country estate/garden. The report will cover all areas of the garden including borders, lawns, trees and shrubs etc and will detail the current condition of each area and the improvements that can be made. For country estates we will detail how we can restore and rejuvenate the grounds (if needed) and show how we propose to work with your existing gardener/s (see below).
- Once approved we will then draw up a 5-10 year plan for the development of estates and a 5 year plan for domestic gardens
If you already have a gardener in situ we can work alongside them and decide on the right course of action for your country estate or garden. We can also provide you with planting plans for herbaceous borders, shrub planting schemes and vegetable garden layouts. We can also look at the ongoing management of larger areas of land including woodlands, streams and ponds and wild meadows, and advise you on and discuss land/habitat management within your grounds.
